1936-2019
Members and staff show their delight when taking delivery of our wonderful mini-bus! This was made possible by the generosity and support of Sedgemoor District Council, Ned Philcox (who ran an epic sponsored half-marathon!) and a local charity. Huge thanks to all who made this possible. We enjoy using the mini bus and maintaining it too!
Stepping Out has many supporters who help us in a variety of ways. Our national Sensory Bus Appeal in 2021, raised £8,500 and we had further donations of £4,500 and a grant of £3,500 from the Sanderson Art in Industry Trust which made the bus a reality - read about its conversion here.
Barry and his team were amazing in sorting out the electrics, servicing the engine and getting the Bus roadworthy.
The ALS team were great in fabricating and then re-welding a large rear section of the ambulance.
Ashley and his team changed the ambulance to a natty purple Sensory Bus sorting out 15 years of bumps, dents and scratches in the process.
