Our Venues

Stepping Out is based in Cossington and Bawdrip, two villages between Street and Bridgwater, both just off the A39 Bath Road. Cossington, our main base, has a spacious, modern, bright and clean hall, with a well-equipped kitchen, disabled toilet facilities and WiFi. There is an enclosed outside garden area offering a safe and relaxing space. Bawdrip is the base for our MowAbility micro-enterprise and also our weekly BakeAbility Café. Most importantly of all, the local communities are warm and welcoming and we receive a great deal of support from the villagers. We feel that these locations are ideal for Stepping Out: quiet, safe areas with good access to larger towns and in supportive communities.
